Operation Longevity 21-Day ‘Call to Action’ Coin Challenge Met with Positive Response

The first step on the introspective journey toward positive and lasting impact, Operation Longevity’s 21-Day “Call to Action” Coin Challenge was first piloted with 12 police recruits from the Port Authority Police of New York and New Jersey.

Over the course of the three-week challenge, recruits completed daily readings, breathing exercises, and actions aimed at improving physical, emotional, or spiritual well-being. They also performed a Random Act of Kindness each day.

At the conclusion of the program, participants were asked to complete a short evaluation reflecting on their experiences. Results were extremely positive, and participants strongly agreed that every academy throughout the country should have their recruits engage in this three-week exercise. Members of the pilot group shared that the Challenge would help better prepare each candidate physically, psychologically, and spiritually as they progress in their law enforcement career. In addition, it was noted, that the daily Random Act of Kindness was the highlight of the Challenge.
